Church Secretary In-Training

The Church Secretary is the Office Manager for the church, and is the first face people see when they walk inside our building during business hours.

The Church Secretary In-Training will be learning and working toward the eventual assumption of all the duties of the Church Secretary. The Church Secretary In-Training works with a view to eventually adapting the means and processes used in the office to better integrate with remote and cloud-based work. This position is a part of the ministry of the church. 

SKILLS REQUIRED (some may be learned in course of work)

• Microsoft Office Suite

• Google Suite Workspace

  • Document Sharing, Cloud-Based File Storage, Managing Multiple Calendars, Generating and Using Forms and Spreadsheets

• Constant Contact

• Simple Graphic Design (MS Publisher or similar)

• Excellent, invitational Customer Service in person, by phone and in written communications

• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to multitask and coordinate with multiple individuals

Director of Youth and Children’s Ministries

The youth and children’s minister reaches elementary, middle, and high school students in our church and community. They will equip, invite, and encourage youth and families on a lifelong journey as disciples of Jesus. This individual will be responsible for creating programs and opportunities to inspire and launch youth and children in Christian faith, partner with and establish trust with parents, and build a healthy volunteer culture.

Part-time (approx 20 hours); On-Site Hours Include Sunday mornings and evenings, Wednesday evenings and some other weekday and weeknight work. Occasional trips and camps. Salary negotiable based on experience.

This is a ministry position which requires committed Christian faith and character, and a desire to share and teach the gospel while accompanying children, teens, and families. BA preferred. Background check required.
