Adult Ministry

Small Groups for Adults

An important part of Methodist Tradition is participation in one or more small groups that provide opportunities to intentionally live and explore Christian principles in fellowship with one another. By doing so, we not only grow in Biblical literacy, we hold one another in loving accountability, developing Christian friendships that last years, if not a lifetime.

Christians Under Construction

Adults of various ages come together each week to study the Bible in this class that is teacher-led.

It is held in room 13 of the Education Building, each Sunday from 9:30-10:30 am.

Wesley Bible Study

We are a unique mixture of ages and stages, 60 years and up, couples and singles, working and retired.  Our lessons come from an Adult Bible Studies series and are teacher-led.  We enjoy lots of laughter and lively thought-provoking discussions.  We are a small class and we always welcome newcomers.

We meet each Sunday in Room 9 of the Education Building, from 9:30-10:30 am.

Book Studies

Pastor-led book study series are offered duing Advent, Lent, and for Adult Vacation Bible School in the summer.

Worship & Prayer Groups

The Worship Committee plans and prepares all the details that go into delivering our worship services. From ensuring the pew cards are in place, to scheduling our young Acolytes, to setting the Communion Table, this team is all about the hospitality and invitation Jesus Christ extends to all who seek him.

We also have a group that prays over our congregation and any prayer request each Sunday at 10:00 am, in a room near the Sanctuary.

If you would like to volunteer in the area of worship or prayer group, contact our Pastor.

Building and Technical Volunteers

The Board of Trustees and the Tech User Group are two sets of volunteers who provide the vital function of keeping the physical plant of the church in excellent operating condition. These stellar volunteers handle everything from Building and Grounds Maintenence, to Information Technology Management, to Audio-Visual Setup and Broadcasting.

If you would like to assist this team, email our chairman, Oscar Fogle.

Administrative Volunteers

The church simply would not get all of the administrative tasks done if it were not for a small army of individuals who lovingly dedicate their time and talents to the day-to-day operation of the Church Office and Communications Team.

If you have gifts in reception, administration, marketing, or communications, or you simply enjoy office work, contact the church office or the Communications Facilitator.
