Education Committee Director: Allison Dredla

Purpose of Christian Education
One primary purpose of the church is to make Christian disciples.

"Christian education settings can be entry points for persons into the congregation, places to reach out and receive others.  Persons can come to know God and make life-changing decisions in those settings, whether they are toddlers in a two-year-old class or the oldest adult in a weekly Bible study session.  They are encouraged to grow and mature in the faith and are sent forth as Christian disciples to make the world more loving and just." Children's Education

Nursery is open on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.

Sunday School-Sunday School is offered on Sunday mornings for children and youth from Pre-K through 12th grade. All classes are held in the Sunday school wing of the FLC from 9:30-10:25 a.m. Our nursery welcomes infants and toddlers from 0 to 4 years old for supervised care while parents and siblings attend Sunday school and our Early or Late Worship Services.

Pre-K through 2nd grade is led by Diana Villa.

3rd through 5th grade is led by Allison Dredla.

The youth Sunday school class is taught by our Youth Director LeEster Burch.

Children's Church-Children's Church is offered on Sunday mornings for children aged 4 to 7.  Children attend either the early Contemporary Service or the late Traditional Service for about 15 minutes and then are welcome to go with the Children's Church Leader for a fun time studying God's Word. Parents can pick-up their children after the service.

Pathways Bible Study-Children's Bible study classes for children of all ages occur every Wednesday evening in the FLC. Children from Pre-K through 5th grade meet from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. The Youth class meets from 6:00 to 7:30.  Our nursery welcomes infants and toddlers up to 4 years old for supervised care while parents and siblings attend Bible Study.
