Adult Education
Education Committee Director: Sara Juarez

Purpose of Christian Education:  One primary purpose of the church is to make Christian disciples.  "Christian education setting can be entry points for persons into the congregation, places to reach out and receive others.  Persons can come to know God and make life-changing decisions in those settings, whether they are toddlers in a two-year-old class or the oldest adult in a weekly Bible study session.  They are encouraged to grow and mature in the faith and are sent forth as Christian disciples to make the world more loving and just." "Our class is "seasoned".  We include a unique mixture of ages and stages, 60 years and up, couples and singles, working and retired.  Our lessons come from the Adult Bible Studies series and are teacher led.  We enjoy lots of laughter and lively, thought provoking discussions.  We support various mission efforts in the church.  We are a small class and we always welcome newcomers.  If you want to form deep and lasting friendships and receive comfort and care when needed, come and be a part of our Wesley family.  Our door is always open."                                                                                              - Sharyl Ruiz
